Remember actor Vishnu's debut film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009), directed by Suseenthiran? It was one of the best sports films in Tamil based on Kabadi.

Now nearly five years after VKK, Suseenthiran fresh from the success of Pandiya Nadu is reuniting with Vishnu in another sports based film. This time it will be on the most popular sport in the country – Cricket. Sri Divya will play the heroine in the film.

Vishnu says: "It is good to be back with Suseenthiran sir, after such a long break. Earlier we were to do another film titled Veera Dheera Soora , which was dropped. I play a cricketer in the film and in real life I'm a first class cricketer who has scored heavily in CCL. It is a dream role and script is exciting."
