Ilayathalapathy Vijay threw an exclusive private party for the cast and crew of Jilla. Vijay always host his success party at home in his beachside bungalow on ECR.

Those who attended the party included Mohanlal, Mahat, Poornima and her husband Bhagyaraj. Vairamuthu too was part of the party and it has to be recalled that he wrote the lyrics for the song Kandangi...which became a big hit.

The highlight of the party was a specially made cake for the party. It is said that the cake had the words "Sivanum Sakthiyum Serntha Mass Da!," written on it. A photo of the party showing Vijay feeding cake to Mahat has been doing the rounds in the internet.
