"Jilla", one of the most-awaited films of 2014, is all set to hit the screens on 10 January. With the film's release date nearing, fans have been given a glimpse of what to expect from the Vijay starrer in a new trailer, which they released on youtube just 2 days before the movie release.

The Trailer once again assures that "Jilla" will be a complete action-packed entertainer with all the commercial elements including punch dialogues and Vijay's casual comedy.


The video has received good response from the fans. Directed by RT Neason, "Jilla" has Malayalam actor Mohanlal and Vijay appearing as father and son, respectively. Post the stupendous success of 2012-release "Thuppakki", Kajal Aggarwal and Vijay are once again sharing screen space in "Jilla."

The film also boasts of an ensemble cast including 80s mainstream actress Poornima Bhagyaraj, Mahat Raghavendra of "Mankatha" fame, comedian Soori, Malayalam-Tamil actress Niveda Thomas, Sampath Raj of "Goa" fame and Telugu comedian Brahmanandam in pivotal roles.

"Jilla" is creating a lot of positive buzz in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, as Vijay and Mohanlal are popular in both the states. Vijay, who saw the final copy of the film, is happy and confident that "Jilla" will impress the audience and click at the box office.

According to reports, the main highlight of the film is the bonding shared between Vijay and Mohanlal in the film. Although the film might not be a completely new genre, the director believes the Vijay starrer will definitely entertain the audience, reported Indiaglitz.

"Jilla" is all set for a massive worldwide release on 10 January. The film will be facing strong competition from Ajith's "Veeram", which is set to hit the screens on the same day.

Just a couple of days left to find out which film - "Jilla" or "Veeram" - emerges on top at the box office.
