Director Ezhil, who had directed by Vijay in Thulladha Manamum Thullum, got back with a bang with two recent hits, Manam Kothi Paravai and Desingu Raja.

This director is now well on his way to score a hat-trick. Yes, sources say that he has a full-length comedy flick ready to go on floors.

Ezhil has roped in Vikram Prabhu to play the hero in this movie and the young star is very keen on the project because comedy is the trend now in Kollywood and they turn out to be huge grosser at the box office.

Vikram Prabhu is presently working on Gaurav's Sigaram Thodu and debutant Anand Shankar's Arima Nambi. He will soon start work on Kazhugoo director Sathya Siva's Thalapakatti and GNR Kumaravelan's untitled film. And now, he has agreed in principle to do two more films — one with director Ezhil (of Manam Kothi Paravi fame) for Anbu, and one more for producer TG Thyagarajan. These films are likely to go on floors in the second half of 2014.
