Happy New Year! Like last year, 2014 is going to witness record number of releases in Tamil. In the first week of the New Year itself there are 6 new Tamil releases and 3 dubbings!

The six straight Tamil releases are Agadam, Athimalai Muthupandi, En Kadhal Pudhidhu, Kathiyai Theetathe Buthiyai Theetu, Mun Andhi Saaral and Namma Gramam.

The three dubbing films are JC Daniel, a dubbing of Prithviraj's Malayalam Celluloid, Vikram Dada is a dubbing of Naga Chaitanya's Telugu Bejawada. The Hong Kong Chinese martial arts Tom Yum Goong2 film is dubbed as Kumki Veeran.

The Hindi release is the Sholay 3D version of 1975 iconic Ramesh Sippy multi-starrer Sholay . Last week's Malayalam release Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal is getting released this week in Chennai.

The two Hollywood releases are Ben Stiller's The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Leonardo DiCaprio's The Wolf of Wall Street.
