After Raanjhanaa which got the best film Filmfare Award, the shooting of the Dhanush second Hindi film commenced yesterday.
Dhanush made his debut in the lead role in the Hindi film Raanjhanaa directed by Anand L Rai.
With his pragmatic acting, he got the Filmfare Award for the best acting. After this, he was getting lots of Hindi offers but he was not interested.
Dhanush was signed for a Hindi film to be directed by Balki who had earlier directed the super-hit Hindi films Cheeni Cum and Pa. The new film will have Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in the cast.
Ilayaraja is composing the music while P C Sriram will handle the camera. Abhishek Bachchan is producing this film under the banner ABCL.
The shooting of the film commenced yesterday and Dhanush participated in the shooting. Dhanush has tweeted, “From yesterday I am participating in the shooting of my second film. “
Director Balki while speaking said, “ He will be suitable for a school boy or a gangster role. That is Dhanush’s plus. There are three heroes in this film. One is Amitabh Bachchan while the other one is Dhanush. The third hero is Akshara.”
The Cinemotaprapher of the film is P.C.Sreeram Balki's usual lensman. Incidentally these three men are Tamilains working in a Hindi film together.
Dhanush, essentially the youngest among the trio has
expressed his amazement on the humbleness of the two seniors who are
tops the list of India's most celebrated technicians. The National award
winning actor has tweeted "Its great fun working with Balki sir and p.c
sir. So humble, down to earth and hilarious. Enjoying every second". It
is to be noted that Dhanush is working with Balki and P.C for the first
time in his career.
It has been decided to release the film during the month of December 2014.
