It’s well known that Nayanthara’s upcoming film in Kollywood will be the Tamil version of Vidya Balan’s Kahaani.

The latest we hear is that the film will be titled Aval, and shoot on the film is complete. In Telugu, this bilingual — directed by Shekar Kammula — has been christened Anamika.

A source says, “A lot of changes have been made for the Tamil version. Some new characters too have been introduced so that it appeals to the audiences here.” Nayanthara has already stated that the versions of Kahaani will see her perceiving the lead character differently and that it has no scope for comparison with Vidya Balan.
