Jayam Ravi's Nimrndhu Nil directed by Samuthirakani in Tamil and Telugu is slated for a grand release on 14th February.

Valentines Day has become one of the important release dates in Kollywood. Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayantara starred Idhu Kathirvelan kadhal is also set to hit screens on February 14 and now Samuthirakani's Nimrndhu Nil is set to clash with Udhay's IKK.

Usually, feel good romantic entertainers will be released for Lovers Day, but this year viewers get to see commercial action film on second Friday of this month. Ravi's Nimrndhu Nil trailer released recently has riveting features of an action thriller with GV Prakash's bgm. Amala Paul and Ragini Dwivedi played female leads for Ravi in NN.

Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal has passed censors with clean U certificate, while Nimrndhu Nil is yet to be censored.
