It is almost finalised that Priyanka Chopra will be paired up with Vijay in Chimbu Devan’s film, say sources.
The filmmakers had initially approached Deepika Padukone to play his lead pair but the actress’s demand for a humongous pay packet had their heads reeling that they immediately got in touch with another Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra.

Soon after hearing the story, Priyanka decided to take up the offer and will soon formally sign the dotted lines, say sources. Vijay is presently working in AR Murugadoss’ film and will move over to Chimbu Devan’s movie in July this year.

As we earlier reported there was a buzz going around that Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra was approached for Vijay- Chimbu Devan project. Now there is yet another buzz that Deepika Padukone the numero uno in Bollywood has been approached for the same flick.

Reports also add that Deepika has quoted one crore remuneration for the movie which has sort of shocked the makers.Deepika’s only other outing in South-Indian cinema so far has been the yet to release Kochadaiyaan.
