Actress Vanitha, daughter of veteran actor Vijayakumar, came to the Police Commissioner’s office at Kilpauk in Chennai on Wednesday, seeking permission and protection for the shoot of her forthcoming venture, had the reporters hounding her to find why she was there.

Speaking to the press persons after filing a complaint, Vanitha said that she has sought protection for the shooting of her movie, which has been titled MGR Sivaji Rajini Kamal.

Stating that she is producing this film under her own banner Vanitha Film Productions, she added that choreographer Robert is all set to turn a director with this movie, who is said to be in a relationship with Vanitha..

With the names of the icons of Tamil cinema being used for the title, Vanitha fears that their fans may trouble her during the shooting and hence sought police protection.

Vanitha, who is twice divorced, refused to reply when asked about her marriage with Robert. “No personal matters,” she said.
