Ilayathalapathy Vijay's untitled film directed by AR Murgadoss kick-started early this month in Kolkata. Now from February 12, the unit is shifting to Chennai for a one week shoot.

The untitled film produced by Lyca Films in association with Ayngaran International is being called Vijay 57 by his fans. It is an action entertainer starring Vijay and Samantha in the lead, with music by Anirudh.

The unit shot some daring action chase scenes in the bylanes of Kolkata. Bengali actor Tota Roy Choudhary plays the role of the villain in the film. Scenes featuring him and Vijay have been shot in Kolkata.

The Chennai shoot will take place around the airport area. Samantha will join the unit during the Chennai shoot. A part of a song composed by Anirudh will be shot on the lead characters during this schedule. Later the unit will shift to Hyderabad for the next schedule.
