It is the big Valentine weekend, and there are large number of releases in all languages. They are all trying to cash in on the love mood prevailing and trying to woo the youth audiences and couples.

Many multiplexes in Chennai and suburbs are offering Valentine packages, with lots of goodies thrown in. Vijay Sethupathi is celebrating Valentine day with his friends at Sathyam Cinemas.

There are four Tamil releases Ithu Kathirvelan Kadhal, Chandra, Madhavanum Malarvizhiyum and Rettai Kadhir. The biggest of the lot is IKK, which virtually gets a solo release. There are two dubbing films Kadhalan Yaradi and D-day.

The maximum releases are in English – The Sci-Fi action thriller RoboCop, Jackie Chan's Police Story 2013, Winter’s Tale, Her & Mr. Go – 3D. Among the lot RoboCop and Police Story get most screens.
