As earlier reported, Vijay Sethupathi will be doing a cameo in R Parthipan's Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam.

This is the first film that Parthipan is directing without doing a role in it. It is also his tribute to 100 years of Indian Cinema.

We now hear that few more stars have also signed up to do cameos in the movie that apparently has absolutely no story. Arya, Amala Paul, Prakash Raj, Nazriya and director Cheran will appear as themselves in Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam.

The Vettai leads will in fact shoot for their parts in Coimbatore on 27th March. Talking about how he managed to rope in the stars, he said, "Lately, I've been very actively promoting movies and trailers of other artistes that really impressed me. It is probably the positive side effect of this practice that the actors have come forward to be a part of my project. In fact, when I asked Vijay Sethupathi if he can play himself in the movie, his first question was 'can we shoot tomorrow?' That was the case with others too."
