Kaaviya Thalaivan – an upcoming Tamil movie directed by Vasantha Balan starring Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika, Nasser and many others held its first press conference last evening in Chennai.

Oscar Winner A.R. Rahman who is scoring the music for the movie was the chief attraction at the press conference. Apart from the director and lead actors, Producer YNOT Sashi, Editor Praveen, Art director Santhanam and lyricist Pa.Vijay attended the press conference.

A.R. Rahman had to do lot of research about the 1930's – 40's period Tamil stage songs and had come up with 8 beautiful songs. The audio is expected to release in April.

Lead actor Siddharth said it was dream come true assembling a top notch team to bring director Vasantha Balan's vision to reality. Leading lady Vedhika considered it as a privilege to work with best of the best team in Kaaviya Thalaivan.

Director Vasantha Balan was very passionate in his speech about the need to bring quality cinema in Tamil and he was very thankful for everyone's co-operation in completing the movie in record 80 days.

Everyone singled out A.R Rahman as India's pride and praised him for his dedication to work in general and for Kaaviya Thalaivan in particular, which is expected to release in May.
