Yaan is the directorial debut of the cinematographer turned director Ravi K. Chandran. This film has Jiiva and Thulasi Nair of Kadal fame in the lead roles.

Yaan is said to be a racy thriller for which Harris Jayaraj is composing the tunes. Manush Nadan takes up the cinematography while A. Sreekar Prasad takes care of the editing.

Yaan is the second film of Kadal actress Thulasi Nair who has paired opposite Jeeva in the movie written and directed by cinematographer turned director Ravi K Chandran.

Earlier Yaan music director Harris Jayaraj has confirmed that makers are planning Yaan audio launch by the first week of May. Finally, the producers have zeroed in on May 12 for launching the music album of Yaan.

Elred Kumar is producing Yaan on his RS Infotainments banner with Manush Nandan's cinematography and A. Sreekar Prasad's editing works.
