STR aka Silambarasan's has several movies at various stages of production. Here is a primer about where things stand today as far as his movies are concerned.

Simbu just wrapped up the shoot of the final song of Vaalu with Hansika in Bangkok and returned to Chennai on Tuesday. This will be his next movie to release, provided producer settles his financial issues.

STR will now join the next schedule of director Pandiraj's Idhu Namma Aalu with Nayanthara. The movie is 50% to 60% complete . It is one of the most anticipated movies of Kollywood this year given that STR and Nayanthara are coming together after a long break.

The star's film with Gautham Menon titled Sattrendru Maaruthu Vaanilai is on hold as the director is busy with Thala55. Meanwhile STR's proposed film with director Selvaraghavan has been put on the hold.

His Vettai Mannan with Jai and Hansika can be safely considered dropped for various reasons. Once Vaalu releases, one can hope his other movies will also start releasing one by one.
