Vendhar movies who have distributed many successful films in Tamil like ‘Ethir Neechal’ ‘Thalaivaa’, ‘Thillu Mullu’ (remake), ‘Pandiya Naadu’ and ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’ are making their foray into Malayalam film industry. S.Madhan of Vendhar movies is currently producing his maiden Malayalam flick titled ‘Medulla Oblam Katta’. The film is being directed by Suresh Nair.

The film also introduces yesteryear heroine Ambika as a lyricist. Ambika who ruled the Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industry as a heroine in 1980′s and eventually evolved as a character artiste during in the last years of 1990′s has penned a song ‘Puss Mariya’ to the tune composed by the film’s music director Balagopal. Interestingly it is a Tamil song that will be featured in a Malayalam film.

‘Medulla Oblam Katta’ is a film that revolves around youngsters. Rahul Madhav, Saiju G Kurup, Arjun Nandhakumar, Rakendhu Kumar and Avana in central characters.
