Kannada girl Deepa Sannidhi is making inroads into Tamil cinema. The actress, who has nearly finished work on her Kollywood debut — the remake of the Kannada hit Lucia — has apparently signed up for her next. According to a source, Deepa will join the set of director Vishnuvardhan’s (of Aarambham and Billa fame) new film Yatchan next week.

“Yatchan stars Arya and Kreshna in the lead. Deepa will be paired with Arya. Her portions will be shot in Chennai,” says the source.

When we called Deepa, she confirmed the news. “I am excited to be a part of Vishnuvardhan sir’s film. It is an honour to be signed up even before my Tamil debut has released,” she says
