Karthi's recent movies may not have hit the bull's eye at the B-O. He has been going through a bad patch, mainly due to his poor selection of films. But he is lining up some good movies to regain his place among the top heroes in Kollywood.

He is almost done with Attakathi director Ranjith's Kaali (working title). Set in North Chennai, the movie pairs Karthi with popular Tollywood actress Catherine Tresa. Santhosh Narayan has done the music for the movie.

Next up is a quickie with Kuttipuli fame Muthaiah. The movie will be completed in 3 months from June.
It will be a rural entertainer which will be shot in southern Tamil Nadu. Lakshmi Menon has been approached for the film, as rest of the crew and cast is being finalised.

After this, Karthi will reunite with his Paiyaa director Lingusamy for Yenni Ezhu Naal. Samantha may pair up with him or there is an outside chance we might see Karthi pairing up with Tamannah.

Karthi is a talented actor and it's a matter of time, before he gets back his winning ways in Kollywood.
