The preparations for director Vijay and Amala Paul’s wedding have already begun in full swing. The duo met the press recently to formally announce their wedding date as June 12.

The young couple has also started meeting up with friends and well-wishers in the industry to invite them for their big day.

A source says, “Last weekend, Vijay and Amala met their colleagues in the industry to invite them for their wedding. Vijay met up with all the heroes he has worked with, including Ajith, Vikram and Vijay, who wished the couple well. They also met up with actors he has worked with in his films and other biggies including Kamal Haasan, Suriya and Trisha.”
