After completing a schedule of Thala55 in Malaysia , Anushka returned to India and joined the shoot of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa few days back in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City.

She pairs opposite Rajinikanth in the present day period portion of the movie. Sonakshi Sinha plays the romantic interest of Rajinikanth in the period era portions. She shot with him in Mysore during the first schedule.

Actors Santhanam and Karunakaran also joined the shoot. Some comedy scenes involving the two and the lead pair were shot.

Also Telugu Actor Jagapati Babu who plays the villain role in Lingaa joined the shoot few days back in Hyderabad.

The shoot is progressing briskly and the movie is expected to release on Dec 12th for Superstar’s birthday.
