Vijay Chander of Vaalu fame is close on the heels of wrapping up with the shooting of his maiden debut with Silambarasan and Hansika Motwani in lead roles. His next project titled as Kanni Rasi with Jai in lead role will start rolling from October.

Well, there is a huge surprise about this film for it stars nine heroines that include Trisha, Nayantara, Andrea Jeremiah, Lakshmi Rai, Sri Divya, Hansika Motwani and three others are yet to be confirmed. Simbhu is playing an extended cameo in this flick and will have a crucial role to play here.

Kanni Rasi happens to be the title of actor-director Pandiarajan's yesteryear hit film Kanni Rasi that starred Prabhu and Revathi in lead roles. Sources assure that just the title of this film has been recreated and both of them do not share any other similarities.
