Director N Raghavan’s Manja Pai, starring Vemal, Rajkiran and Lakshmi Menon in the lead, is all set to be remade in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. Veteran director-producer Dasari Narayana Rao has acquired the remake rights in Telugu, Rockline Venkatesh will be making the film in Kannada and Hindi.

Subash Chandrabose, who released the original, confirms the news to us, saying, “Yes, Dasariji will be making the film in Telugu. I hear that he will be casting Nani in it. Rockline Venkatesh has already started the groundwork for the Kannada and Hindi remake rights. And Amitabh Bachchan is likely to see the film soon, and he might also be part of the Hindi version.”
Sources tell us that Dasari Narayana Rao might play the role of the grandfather himself, while Vishnu Manchu is in line to play the lead.
