Vijay Antony is one of the music directors who has successfully switched over to hero roles with Naan.

Now his second film as hero Salim is getting ready for release, with the film's audio being launched a few days back.

Salim is a action thriller film directed by N V Nirmal Kumar, who was an associate to Bharathi Raja. It stars Vijay Antony and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles. The film is named after the character Salim that Vijay Antony enacted in his debut movie Naan.

At the audio launch of the film many people from the industry talked about Vijay Antony's confidence level. Vijay had risen from a sound recordist to a music director to an actor and producer.

The reason for Vijay Antony's success is because of his belief in his dreams and his hard work. Salim has turned out well and Vijay is sure it will be another stepping stone for him.
