Cinematographer-director Vijay Milton of Goli Soda fame, who is experimenting with an all-out action film, is to begin work on the next schedule of his Vikram-Samantha-starrer today.

Says a source close to the unit, “Yes, the schedule is to begin today and Vikram will be joining the team. We will be shooting primarily in Chennai in this schedule. We are also planning to shoot in different places including Hyderabad, Ladakh, Sikkim, and Bengal. The film will be a quickie and will release by January 2015.”

Imman is composing the music for the film, which has lyrics by Madhan Karky. “Two songs are ready and we will be canning them in this schedule. Samantha plays Vikram’s love interest and no, she is not essaying a double role,” informs the source, adding, “Vikram will be essaying the role of a regular guy and is performing the stunts himself.”

When asked about rumours that the team was planning to rope in Hollywood stunt directors, the source says,”It is true that the team is in talks with a few Hollywood stunt directors. We are trying to bring them on board.” The film is set to be shot on a budget of over ` 40 crores and is believed to be one of the biggest budget films from the production house till date. The music of the film, the source says, will hit the markets in all probability by the end of October, this year.
