www.itimes.com/polls along with our vote, decided the winners.
How does it feel to be voted as the Chennai Times Most Desirable Woman of 2013?
I’m humbled and thankful to all the voters. I grew up in Tamil Nadu, and it’s special to be voted the most desirable here. I’m happy that the place I love, loves me back.
So, what do you think is your desirability quotient?
I don’t think it’s just the looks; looks fade with time. It’s the personality that makes anyone desirable. I’ve always depended on working hard to achieve my goal. I rely more on talent as opposed to prettiness; I believe a pretty face is of no use without a mind to take it forward.
But there must be this X Factor about you…
It’s just that I don’t care about these… (smiles)
Then, what makes you sexy?
You feel sexy, you think you are sexy, then you are sexy! No actress looks the way she looks on the screen when she wakes up in the morning. There’s a whole team that works on you — makeup, costumes, hairdos. But you should still feel sexy when you take it all off.
Does being sexy involve hard work?
I do diet and exercise regularly and follow skin care regimes. But the rest is all thanks to my parents and their genes.
Is there any physical feature of yours that you wish were more perfect?
My feet. I wish I had prettier feet. They are weird, but I have learnt to live with them.
How do you deal with male attention?
I don’t really have to deal with it. I’m flattered they watch my films and admire my work.
What makes a man desirable for you?
His sharp mind and a good heart.
What about his physical attributes?
Expressive eyes. And preferably, he must have a beard.
And, who, according to you, is the most desirable man?
