Filmmaker Vijay has been handling movies on different genres and his next would be a remake of Malayalam movie Shutter, which starred Lal, Sreeinivasan, Vinay Forrt and Sajitha Madathil in lead roles.

The film was a full-fledged humour that witnessed good reviews and indeed fetched huge collections in box office as well. Screenwriter Joy Mathew made his debut directorial with this film in Malayalam and has now confirmed that Vijay will remake it in Tamil. The official confirmation about the cast and crew of this film will be made shortly. For now, Vijay is taking a small break post-the success of his recent release 'Saivam'.
