Editor Praveen hits half century

National Award winning editor KL Praveen who started his movie career with Venkat Prabhu's Chennai 600028 has reached a milestone of 50 movies.

His golden jubilee film will be his guru Venkat Prabhu’s Masss.
Editor Praveen used to assist director Balu Mahendra in his TV series Kathai Neram before he shifted to feature films. He along with his erstwhile partner NB Srikanth edited several prominent movies in recent years in several languages.
They include Mankatha, Aravaan, Saroja, Aaranya Kaandam and several others. For Aaranya Kaandam, he won the National Award for Best Editing in 2011.
For Saroja, he won the Tamil Nadu Government’s State Award for Best Editing in 2008. Some of his upcoming movies include Karthi's Madras and Vasanthabalan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan.
