Arya recently organized his brother Sathya’s upcoming movie Amara Kaaviyam audio launch in Chennai. Nayanthara and Trisha launched the audio, while friends like Pooja were there to cheer him.

However Arya’s good friend Anushka was conspicuous by her absence at the function. Kollywood rumor mills were working overtime and suggesting that there is a rift between Arya and Anushka.

Arya recently in an interview said he did invite Anushka and Taapsee for the function. Anushka was busy with Baahubali shoot and Taapsee was shooting for a Hindi movie and hence they couldn't make it.

The star made it clear that things are cordial between him and Anushka. Also this year, the Ramzan Biriyani feast didn't happen at Arya’s household as his mom went to their native Kerala and Arya was busy with shoot.

He hopes to compensate soon by hosting a big Biriyani party for his close friends.
