Suriya, Samantha, Vidyut Jammwal, Manoj Bajpai, Manobala and others starred director-producer Lingusamy's Anjaan has been trimmed by 20 minutes and the new prints are out from today's Matinee shows.

Anjaan was opened with 170 minutes [2 hrs 50 mins] running time, but due to the rave reviews that said length and the improper placement being the main barriers, makers of Anjaan have now cropped the film by 20 mins.

Suriya'a Anjaan has got record breaking openings during the 3-days Independence Day weekend. The Samantha starrer has acquired Rs 30 crores net from all over the world.

This is a tremondous openning for Suriya throughout his career. Though Anjaan has not received best reviews from critics, the movie has taken huge opennings during the first weekend in 1700 screens including both Tamil and Telugu [Sikander].

Samantha's bikini act for the first time in Anjaan, Yuvan's stunning background scores and Santosh Sivan's visuals are the highlights of the movie.
