With the releases for Diwali still remaining on hush-hush, Vishal's Poojai has made its confirmation on hitting screens for festive occasion.

With just a song pending to be shot, the complete shooting comes to an end, there is something interesting we hear about the film straight from the horse's mouth, Vishal himself. Says Vishal, "We have all seen triangular love stories, but this would be a triangular action packed one with three parallel tracks conjoining at a point and that would be during intermission." Poojai is directed by Hari and is released by Vendhar Movies in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The film is produced by Vishal under the banner of Vishal Film Factory.

After a brief hiatus, Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in a Tamil film. She is playing the role of a young college graduate with Sathyaraj playing a pivotal role. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film, which is slated for a Diwali release in 2014.
