Vemal – Priya Anand's Kannan directed Oru Oorla Rendu Raja was planning to release on Oct 2. Now it's postponed to November. Srikanth – Sunaina's Nambiyaar, Dinesh – Aishwarya' Thirudan Police, Pia Bajpai's Nerungi Vaa Muthamidalaam and few other movies which were slated for October has now been pushed to November.

But in November, Uttama Villain, Kaaviya Thalaivan, I and Anegan are planning to release. So it's going to be a tough time for small to medium budget movies to release amidst the biggies.

Update: Kaaviya Thalaivan Release

The official paper ads of Kaaviya Thalaivan has confirmed that the film will be released on the month of November. Now, Vasantha Balan, the director of Kaaviya Thalaivan has posted in his Facebook page "Paper ads stating Kaaviya Thalaivan as a November release, but at the same time big films like 'I', 'Uttama Villain' and 'Anegan' should not release around the same time so that Kaaviya Thalaivan will get the needed attention ".

Vasanta Balan has said "The work involved in Kaaviya Thalaivan is huge, I have worked hard for nearly two and a half years for the film. Also the producers have invested a huge amount on it. Let God be with us".
