After ‘Tamirabharani’ Hari has joined hands with Vishal once again for ‘Poojai’, and this time he has chosen Coimbatore city for the screen play.

Poojai is an Tamil action – romantic movie produced by Vishal, who himself plays the lead role alongside an ensemble cast featuring Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Mukesh Tiwari. This masala film has music scored by Yuvanshankar Raja. Priyan has cranked the camera while V.T. Vijayan and T.S. Vijay has edited the film.

After experimenting with his roles in the last two releases – "Pandiya Naadu" and "Naan Sigappu Manithan" – Vishal is back with a commercial entertainer, which has loads of actions, chase sequences and other stunts.

Plot:

Vasu (Vishal) is a money lender who gets into trouble with a gangster (Mukesh Tiwari) as he rescues a sincere cop (Sathyaraj) from the villain. Vasu hits the gangster in a public place and the latter decides to take revenge on him and his family. (Read more...)
