Poojai Satellite Rights sold to Sun TV

Vishal's Poojai is getting ready to grace the theaters on October 22. Shruthi Hassan is back to Tamil cinema after two long years, and will be sharing the screen with Vishal for the first time.

‘Poojai’ is one of the most anticipated movie and it is produced by Vishal film factory and Vendar movies. This action movie is set to release on Diwali. Hari has directed this commercial entertainer that will be telecasted in television by Sun TV.

Having missed the chance to acquire Shankar’s I and Vijay’s Kaththi which were sold to Jaya TV, 'SUN TV' didn't want to miss any chance and has snapped the Poojai satellite rights for a whooping amount. Produced by Vishal Film Factory, Poojai is set to be released in more than 450 screens in Tamil Nadu.

The film will be Vishal's second festival release of the year after "Naan Sigappu Manithan". The actor is on a roll with back-to-back successful films and it remains to be seen if "Poojai" emerges as a hit film.

Poojai is Tamil action masala film directed by Hari and produced by Vishal Film Factory, Visal and Shruti Haasan plays the lead role alongside a star studded cast featuring Sathyaraj, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Soori, Abhinaya, Jayaprakash, Prathap Pothen, Thalaivasal Vijay, Mukesh Tiwari, Manobala, R. Sundarrajan and Imman Annachi. Shanti Priya and Andrea Jeremiah make a special appearance in the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the film, while cinematography and editing are handled by Priyan and V.T. Vijayan, respectively.

Poojai is simultaneously releasing in Telugu as Pooja in many screens. Compared to Vijay's Kaththi, Poojai has less theaters in Tamil Nadu and more in Telugu states.
