That Suriya's next film after Anjaan is Venkat Prabhu's Masss is old news.Nayanthara and Amy Jackson were the two heroines signed up for the film but the latest news is that Amy is no longer in the project and Venkat Prabhu is scouting for a replacement.

The film which was scheduled to start with a month-long shoot in Hyderabad is now on the hold as some shooting site permission is yet to come. So Venkat and his team are desperately trying to sign the second heroine who should be a saleable star.

But the grapevine has it that every heroine who is approached for the role is not willing to play second fiddle to Nayanthara as they fear that she might oversahadow them. Priya Anand, Amala Paul and Taapsee were contacted but no one has given the green signal.

On Amy backing out of the project there are two stories doing the rounds. One is that her advisors told her that it would be suicidal to do a second heroine role at a time when her career is all set to boom after Shankar's I release. The other reason touted out is that due to schedule delay her dates are going haywire.

Amy is in Chennai today for a discussion with a big budget director who wants her to do a heroine oriented role. Watch this space for more!
