After an overwhelming success with Jigarthanda, Karthik Subbaraj will join hands with Siddharth again, but this time for a short film.

The 'Jigarthanda' director is one of the most exciting filmmakers in the industry and recently, he launched 'stone bench', a company to promote young talents and to act as a bridge for directors to find their path to Kollywood from the short film arena. Having come from the same orbit, Karthik Subbaraj has announced that, he will be directing Siddharth and it will be a new age short film.

Karthik Subbaraj has also started two child portals called Bench Casting to help aspiring actors upload their portfolios and Benchsubs to subtitle the films to make it more visible and to cater to the large sections of the global audiences.

Meanwhile, Siddharth is waiting for 'Kaaviya Thalaivan' and 'Enakkul Oruvan' to release and Karthik Subbaraj will be doing the script work for his next, 'Iraivi'. It is worth mentioning that 'Jigarthanda' completed 100 days yesterday, which is a rare feat nowadays in K-town.
