Kaththi crosses ₹100 Crores Box Office collections in just 12 days

Now the music director of the film Anirudh announced that the movie has crossed ₹100 Cr worldwide by the end of its twelfth day .
According to Anirudh the Tamil Nadu gross collection is 65.1cr, overseas collection is 20.2 crores and rest of India gross collection is 15.4 crores. When cross checked with early estimates from trade experts, the collection figures look legit which means AR Murugadoss touched the 100 crores mark for the fourth time (Ghajini(Hindi), Thuppakki, Holiday and Kaththi) among which two are Vijay films.

During the first weekend, "Kaththi" got a fantastic reception from Vijay fans worldwide. The film earned ₹23.08 crore on the release day worldwide and Tamil Nadu contributed a major part to it. The film reportedly made ₹12.5 crore in the state, ₹7+ crore overseas, ₹1.5 crore in Kerala, ₹1.58 crore in Karnataka and the rest from other parts of India.
By the end of the first weekend, "Kaththi" collected ₹36 crore from Tamil Nadu, around ₹4.5 crore from Karnataka and Kerala and ₹1.5 crore from other parts of the country to end the first week with ₹46.5 crore. The international circuits had contributed around ₹24 crore.
