Popular comedian Vivek’s father Angaiyaa left his last breath this morning at Chennai. The family is grief stricken by the huge loss.

The senior comedy actor Vivek who puts a smile on everyone's face is bereaved with the demise of his father.

Post his debut with K Balachander's Manathil Uruthi Vendum, Vivek has shared screen space with many front line Tamil actors such as Rajinikanth, Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and Vikram in his 27 years of film career.

The Padmashri Awardee also known as ‘Chinna Kalaivanar’, Vivek is awaiting the release of Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal.

Reports says, it is a natural death due to aging. Last respects for Mr. Angaiyaa will be done at Vivek’s native place Kovilpatti in Tuticorin district.
