Everyone is aware that after Kaththi, Vijay is donning the lead role in a film which is being directed by Chimbudevan.

Hansika and Shruthi Haasan are the two heroines of the film. Sridevi, Sudeep and Thambi Ramaiah are donning important roles.

Vijay is donning the father and son role in this high budgeted film. For the last few days the shooting of the film is taking place in a set erected in ECR.

The film is yet to be titled. There was news that the film is to be titled as Karuda or Maarisan. Director Chimbudevan had mentioned that these were not the titles of his film.

Now reliable sources say that the film has been titled as Maru Dheeran. Official announcement regarding this is yet to be made. Nataraj who donned the lead role in Sathuranga Vettai is handling the camera for the film.

Devi Sriprasad is composing the music. It is understood that the First Look of the film will be released on Pongal day.
