Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain trailer is ready and the actor-filmmaker is planning to release it sometime soon.

Directed by Ramesh Aravind, Uttama Villain is said to be based on drama artists laced with comedy. Kamal had uploaded a video on his YouTube page, which has been shot from Paramount Studio in Los Angeles. The actor is currently in the United States with post production work of "Uthama Villain" and gave a sneak peak of the post production work of the movie.

As per reports, Kamal will appear in double roles in the movie. He will portray the role of an 8th century drama artist (Uthaman) and a 21st century film star (Manoranjan). Director Balachander, who is the real-life mentor of Kamal, will reprise the role of Manoranjan's mentor.
N Lingusamy is jointly producing Uttama Villain on his Thirupathi Brothers banner along with Raaj Kamal Films International. Jayaram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Parvathi, Parvathy Nair, late K. Balachander are part of Uttama Villain cast.
