'Lingaa' - Movie Review

Lingaa Review
Superstar Rajinikanth is back to rock the big screens with Lingaa, directed by KS Ravikumar. This movie presented by Vendhar Movies, is produced by Munirathna and Rockline Venkatesh and has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Randy aka Rathnavelu. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka play Superstar's heroines and are supported by an able and ensemble cast.

"Lingaa" has been released in 3000 screens worldwide and opened up to an overwhelming response at box offices worldwide. The Tamil movie has been welcomed by the audience not just in South India but in different parts of the world. "Lingaa" has got mixed reaction. While ardent Rajinikanth fans are impressed, others have not liked the content for taking too much liberty while projecting Rajini in a larger-than-life role. Especially, the climax portion has come for criticism. Nonetheless, many feel the film is fully entertaining if enjoyed beyond logic.

"Lingaa" has been directed by KS Ravikumar and bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty are playing the female lead roles in the film.

Critics Review

Lingaa has all the elements that a blockbuster project in the combination of Superstar Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar would have and some more... Thalaivar fans, don't miss it!!! - Galatta
Lingaa is a mainstream entertainer with some substance, playing to Rajini's strengths. Low expectations and high patience levels would enable you to enjoy Rajinikanth's screen persona. - Behindwoods
Lingaa is old wine in a new bottle, works only because of the charisma and enigmatic screen presence of the Superstar. - Rediff.
Lingaa is made for Rajinikanth, to make him the hero of all times, but fails to meet expectations as a movie on the whole. - Indiaglitz
