Maari is an upcoming Tamil film that stars Dhanush in the lead. Directed by Balaji Mohan, this is his third venture after the success of 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi' and 'Vaayai Moodi Pesavum'.

This film has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead and it also has Robo Shankar, Kaali Ventak among others in important role.

Now the latest we hear is that Singer and son of K J Yesudas, Vijay Yesudas will be playing an important role in this Dhanush starrer. Vijay Yesudas has been receiving acting offers for a long time. Though we do not know what Vijay Yesudas's role is, it would be interesting to see him on screen.

This is the first film for Vijay Yesudas in Tamil, he has already acted in a Mollywood movie. The film is currently happening in a brisk pace and we have no clue about what role he is going to play and his charater in this film is kept under wraps.

Maari will be a bilingual and is being produced by Sarathkumar, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Listin Stephen under the production banner Magic Frames and co-produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
