Dharmathin Thalaivan was the 1st film for Prabhu and Kushboo to pair up, followed by Chinna thambi, My dear marthandan, Kizhakukarai, Pandithurai.

In 90's period there was even a rumour in the Kollywood industry that Prabhu and Kushboo were in love and had their secret marriage, because of this the lovely onscreen pair stopped paring up in films. Their last movie together was Chinna Vathiyar.

After 20 years now again they are pairing up for the film Vandhal. This movie is going to be produced in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Though we got a good news that Prabhu and Kushboo are going to be in a movie after 20 years, we are not sure whether they are going to perform as a pair or in an individual role.
