Producer-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin announced the release date of his next film Nanbenda. The second film in Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal combo, Nanbenda is slated for the world wide release on April 2nd.

Udhayanidhi himself confirmed the reports in his official Twitter page. Directed by JBR Jagadesh, Nanbenda casts Nayantara and Santhanam in the pivotal roles alongside Udhay.

Nanbenda is one of those much expected movies in Tamil which was undoubtedly proved with over 6 lakh views of the trailer alone. This is Udhayanithi's third movie as a hero and the second movie for the duo of Udhay and Nayanthara, who earlier teamed up for Ithu Kathirvelan Kathal. Santhanam is playing a vital role in this upcoming movie, following his successful combo with Udhay in both Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and Ithu Kathirvelan Kathal.

The posters and trailer have been received on a positive note and it has increased the expectations for the movie. We now hear that the movie is releasing worldwide on April 2, 2015. The movie is directed by Jagadish, a former assistant of director Rajesh. This project is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his home banner Red Giant Movies.

Music director Harris Jayaraj has rendered entertaining tunes for Nanbenda, while cinematographer Balasubramaniem has continued his collaboration with Udhaynidhi for this movie too. Vivek Harshan takes care of the editing. Looks like this will be a summer treat for the fans.
