Valiyavan, is the third Tamil movie for director Saravanan who marked his name strongly with his debut movie Engeyum Eppothum.

This former assistant of director AR Murugadoss, has written and directed Valiyavan, starring Jai and Andreah. Valiyavan is produced by SK Studios. Editor Subarak, cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan and music director D Imman are a part of the technical crew.

The audio launch of Valiyavan happened today and the gist of the event is as follows:

1. Viveka (Lyricist) said he is very happy to be associated with D Imman whose combination has always been successful for him. He has written 2 songs for this movie - a romantic number and a birthday song. He further added that Valiyavan is a very meaningful title. 
2. Sarala (Stylist) said her job was easy with Andreah as she looks good in everything and she also added that Jai will look very different in this movie.
3. Na. Muthukumar (Lyricist) is working with director Saravanan for the third time and has written three songs. He says, Saravanan always dedicates one song to the heroine and that trend follows in this movie too.
4. Andreah is playing a carefree character in this movie. This movie has a lot of firsts for her - her first single heroine film, first time she is working with Saravanan, Jai and D Imman, and she has also driven a car for the first time, which she learnt specifically for this movie. 
5. Director Saravanan says this is an action film with a beautiful love track and added that he had a good time working with a dedicated artist like Andreah. He also thanked his assistant directors for their support.
