As it was an inter-religion relationship, Ajith Kumar (Hindu) and Shalini (Christian) had their marriage as per both the Hindu and Christian customs. Post the wedding, the actress finished her two committed projects and bid goodbye to films. They were blessed with a baby girl on January 08, 2008. Ajith and Shalini named their daughters as Anoushka.
