Director Mani Ratnam and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan seems to be aiming for the big release of their films Oh Kadhal Kanmani and Uttama Villain on the same day.

Oh Kadhal Kanmani was earlier planned for Tamil New Year [Apr 14], but makers appear to have preponed the date.

KollyInsider have already informed viewers that Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain directed by Ramesh Aravind is gearing up for worldwide release on April 10th in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.

Popular Tollywood producer C Kalyan has bought Uttama Villain distribution rights for the language, while Dil Raju holds 'OK Kanmani' Telugu version 'OK Bangaram' rights. Prime Media owns the overseas rights of both the films, where as Eros and Studio Greens grabbed the UV and Oh Kadhal Kanmani Tamil Nadu rights, respectively.

Superhit on-screen pair in Malayalam, Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menon have teamed up for the firs time in a Tamil romantic entertainer, OK Kanmani in Mani Ratnam direction under his home banner Madras Talkies with AR Rahman's music.

This is not the first time director Mani Ratnam and Universal star Kamal Haasan vying at the TN Box Office. It was Thalapathi vs Guna for 1991 Diwali and Vishwaroopam vs Kadal in February 2013.
