Dulquer Ram Gopal Varma Mamooty
Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is well known for expressing his views with bitter sarcasm.
Off the late, the ace director is in full of praise for young Malayalam actor Dulquer, who is receiving huge appraisals for his work in Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani.

RGV took his views to micro-blogging page and Tweeted, "Jst saw Mani's film and if the award commitee members have any sense they will take back all awards of Mamooty and give it to his son".

Further he dishonored Dulquer's father and Malayalam Megastar by saying, "Mamooty is a junior artiste compared to his son. Mamooty should learn acting from his son..I mean realistic."

"Mamootys son will make Kerala proud In the non Kerala markets in just years which Mamooty couldn't do for decades", concluded Varma.

Known for his humble nature, Dulquer has just denied RGV's reports by saying, "In ten lifetimes I won't be one millionth the actor my father is, no matter what I accomplish."

And here is the response from RGV to Dulquer,
“well sir that might b ur perspective as a biased son but as unbiased fan I think u r in 1 life a million times ur father ever was. please ask ur own heart as an actor and forget u as his son nd be truthful to cinema. Dont b arrogant to think u knw acting better than me .u r miles above him .if u don’t believe watch his films when he was ur age. Dont let ur love for ur father cloud ur judgement ..That’s being unfair to ur fans. As a director frm 25 years I think u r better than ur father but as actor of 1 year if u think u know better just ask me to shut up,” posted.

Popular Malayalam film industry big shots, including directors Aashiq Abu, Jude Anthany Joseph, Aryan Krishna Menon, actors Kunchacko Boban, Aju Varghese, Kavitha Nair, Sandra Thomas etc harshly criticized Ram Gopal Varma, for his insensible take on Mammootty, who has been considered as one of the greatest actors of the country.

Aashiq Abu and Sandra Thomas responded to RGV's controversial tweet, by sharing Dulquer Salmaan's Facebook post in their official Facebook pages. Other expresses their deep disappointment upon the statements of the popular director, through their Facebook posts. Mammootty, on the other hand, hasn't made any comments about RGV's statements yet.
