KV Anand’s Ko (2011) was a blockbuster in both Tamil and Telugu that the film earned big market for Jiiva.

Now RS Infotainment, the producers of 'Ko' have announced the sequel to the film and Sarath Mandava who assisted Chakri Toleti and Vishnuvardhan will be directing it.

Ko -2 will have Bobby Simha playing the lead and Nikki Galrani will be seen as his romantic interest. Prakash Raj who played the powerful Chief Minister in Ko will also be acting in the sequel.

Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment said " The idea of producing Ko-2 has been in my mind for a long time but bringing together the same talents was challenging. When I heard Sarath Mandava's narration, I thought it is the perfect material for Ko-2 "

The film have cinematography by Shankar, music by Leon James of Kanchana -2 fame while Antony L Ruben has been roped in as the editor.

Speaking about the movie, Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment says...

"The sequel of 'KO ' has been in my mind always. Bringing the same talents together in the same fold was very challenging. I happened to listen to a script narration by Sharath, formerly associated with Vishnuvardhan and Chakri of Billa 2. The script and the pattern of narration inspired me a lot. Why not this as the sequel I asked myself, and by the time he concluded the narration I made up my mind.

Sequels need not necessarily be with the same cast and crew, the fulcrum is always the script and here I have identified the right script as the sequel for 'KO' my biggest hit. Bobby Simha the latest sensation plays the lead, Nikki Galrani play his pair while Prakash Raj sir plays what he is familiar with - a powerpacked role.

'KO '2 will be as powerful as the early KO and I am sure this announcement will trigger a huge response and anticipation, thanks to the massive mandate 'KO' received from the masses"

The technical crew of the film is as follows

Produced By: RS Infotainment
Director: Sharath
DOP: Shankar
Music: Leon James
Editor: Ruben
Art Director: Senthil Raghavan
Dialogue: Bakiyam Shankar
