Natraj to play lead in 'Moodar Koodam' Ramu's period film
Cinematographer cum actor Natraj, popularly known as Natty is famous in Bollywood and Kollywood.

As a lead actor, he made waves late last year with a power-packed performance in 'Sathuranga Vettai'. He is now very busy wielding the camera for Vijay's 'Puli' directed by Chimbudevan.

After a year back now he is being ready to begin his next round as a hero . It will be directed by Ramu, a former associate of Pandiraj. Rajaj of 'Moodar Koodam' fame and Parvathy Nair will also play key roles in this flick.

"The story is set in the 1980s and the backdrop will be Madurai. Shooting will begin on 20 May. It is an interesting script and Natraj is happy about signing it," sources say, adding: "Natraj will soon sign few more movies as hero."

Film fraternities in Bollywood and Kollywood address him by 'Natty'. After his debut with Anurag Kashyap’s short film Last Train to Mahakali, his brilliance in Black Friday, Paanch, Jab We Met, Raanjhanna and many other projects are well known to all Bollywood movie goers.

For Tamil audience he is known as a cinematographer with his first feature film Youth and also as an actor in films like Naalai, Chakara Viyugam and the recent highly promoted project Sathuranka Vettai.
